Everyday laptop for light work

This HP 14 laptop ships new with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit and a Sky Blue finish. An Intel Celeron N4500 dual-core processor runs at 1.10 GHz base with a 2.8 GHz turbo and 4 MB cache. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB PCIe NVMe SSD handle web browsing, document editing and video calls.

Step up from 8 GB or mechanical drives

The 16 GB DDR4 configuration removes the bottleneck common on entry models that ship with half the memory. Replacing a hard drive with the 256 GB NVMe SSD cuts boot and application load times dramatically. The upgrade is worth it when daily multitasking feels sluggish on lesser equipped machines.

Check ports and screen expectations

Verify that USB 3.2 Type-C, HDMI and an SD card reader cover your peripheral needs. The 14.0 inch display uses a 1366 x 768 resolution at 60 Hz and is not a touchscreen. WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 provide current wireless connectivity.
