14-inch HD Chromebook

This HP 14a Chromebook has a 14-inch HD display with 1366 x 768 resolution. It runs Chrome OS on an Intel Celeron N4500 dual-core processor that reaches 2.8GHz. The system includes 4GB DDR4 memory and 64GB eMMC storage. The gray chassis has an HDMI port and a card reader.

Suited for web tasks, not heavy workloads

The Chromebook handles browsing, streaming and cloud documents on the 14.0-inch screen. Buyers who need local video editing, large offline libraries or Windows applications should look elsewhere. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics and 4GB memory limit multitasking to light workloads.

64GB eMMC capacity

The single specification that decides fit is the 64GB eMMC drive. It holds the operating system and a modest set of Android apps or Linux containers. Users who keep extensive media collections or install many desktop-class programs will run out of space quickly.
