48-Port Gigabit PoE+ Switch

The HP 2530-48G-PoE is a 1U rack-mountable Ethernet switch with 48 RJ-45 ports supporting 10/100/1000Base-T. It provides PoE+ power on all copper ports and includes four SFP uplink slots for fibre connectivity. The unit is manageable and ships new.

Suits PoE Deployments; Not for Non-PoE Budgets

This switch fits networks powering VoIP phones, wireless access points or IP cameras through the data cable. Buyers who do not need PoE should look at a non-PoE model to avoid paying for unused power circuitry. It also lacks redundant power supply support for high-availability designs.

Check Rack Depth and Uplink Needs

Verify the 13-inch depth fits your cabinet and that the 1.8-inch height matches a single rack unit. Confirm the four SFP slots match your fibre module type and that a single internal power supply meets your uptime requirements.
