HP 4 TB SATA 3.5" Hard Drive

This HP 4 TB hard drive uses a SATA interface and a 3.5 inch form factor. It spins at 7.2 K RPM and is designed for desktop internal storage. The model carries part numbers 693687-B21 and 693720-001.

Suits desktop builds needing bulk capacity

Buyers who need faster access times or a smaller 2.5 inch form factor should look elsewhere. This drive is not intended for laptop bays or high-performance caching roles.

Standard SATA installation in 3.5" bay

Connect the drive using SATA data and power cables, then secure it with four screws in a 3.5 inch bay. The most common issue is forgetting to initialise the disk in the operating system before use.
