Questions about this item

What comes in the HP 481428-001 kit and do I need to buy mounting rails separately?

The kit includes the 12.7mm Slimline SATA DVD drive and a bezel; mounting rails for ProLiant G5 G6 G7 servers are not included and must be sourced separately.

Which version of this drive fits a ProLiant G6 server bay?

The 12.7mm Slimline SATA form factor matches the optical bay in ProLiant G5 G6 G7 servers, so this single version is the correct choice.
