27-inch QHD monitor for professional workspaces

The HP 527pm delivers a 27-inch viewable area at 2560 x 1440 resolution. Its QHD panel suits office tasks, content review and multi-window workflows that benefit from extra pixel density.

350 cd/m² brightness and 1500:1 contrast ratio

At 350 cd/m² the screen stays clear in typical indoor lighting, while the 1500:1 contrast ratio provides solid depth for documents and media. Very bright environments or colour-critical grading may push the limits of this panel.

USB-C connectivity simplifies desk setups

A single USB-C link handles video, data and compatible device charging, reducing cable count on the desk. Systems without USB-C video output will need an alternative video cable and separate power arrangement for connected peripherals.

Questions about this item

Will the 2560 x 1440 resolution on the 27 inch panel look sharp next to an older 1080p display?

The 27 inch QHD panel delivers 2560 x 1440 pixels, so text and images appear noticeably sharper than a 1080p screen of the same size.

How can I confirm the 350 cd/m² brightness and 1500:1 contrast are performing correctly?

Use a calibration tool or the built-in Windows HDR test pattern to verify peak white reaches 350 cd/m² and black levels meet the 1500:1 ratio.

Does the 527pm include a USB-C cable for video and power, or must I buy one separately?

The monitor ships with a USB-C cable that carries both 2560 x 1440 video and upstream power, so no extra cable is required.
