450 Gb 15000 RPM Fibre Channel Drive

The HP 5697-6817 is a new 450 Gb internal hard drive spinning at 15000 RPM with a Fibre Channel interface. It ships with a tray for desktop installation and carries a 30 day warranty. This drive targets systems that require high-speed Fibre Channel storage in a standard desktop form factor.

Suited for Fibre Channel arrays.

This product suits administrators maintaining legacy Fibre Channel arrays or servers that specifically accept this interface and capacity. It is not for builders who need a common desktop interface or a higher capacity than 450 Gb. Buyers requiring a different physical format or interface should look elsewhere.
