HP 331T 1Gb 4-Port Adapter

This HP 331T adapter provides four 1Gb Ethernet ports in a single switch module. It suits administrators who need to add multiple copper uplinks to a supported server or blade enclosure. The part number 649871-001 identifies the unit for ordering and compatibility checks. Buyers who need fibre connectivity or more than four ports should select a different module.

Installation notes

The module slides into the dedicated mezzanine or FlexibleLOM slot on compatible HP servers. No separate driver media is required because current operating systems include the necessary support. Misalignment during insertion can bend the connector pins, so align the guide rails before applying pressure. Verify the server firmware is current to avoid link negotiation issues.
