Thermals, Noise and Power in Normal Use

The printhead uses pigment-based ink for black output at 12 pl drop size and dye-based inks for cyan, magenta and yellow at 5.5 pl drop size. As a non-electronic consumable it generates no heat, draws no power and produces no audible noise during normal printing operations. Intelligence built into the supplies and printer optimises quality and reliability automatically.

Sustained Load Behaviour

The long-life printhead is designed to deliver consistent, sharp results up to 2400-dpi accuracy from the first print through extended production runs. It is not suited for buyers who require separate single-colour printhead modules or compatibility with printers outside the listed DesignJet series.
