Genuine HP maintenance kit for LaserJet Pro MFP

This original HP kit replaces the automatic document feeder rollers and separation pad on the LaserJet Pro MFP M521dn. It restores reliable paper feed for offices that scan or copy multi-page documents daily. Using certified parts avoids misfeeds that waste time and toner. Install it when the printer prompts for maintenance.

No moving parts or power draw — passive consumable

The rollers and pad contain no motors, fans or electronics, so they add zero noise, heat or electrical load to the device. Normal use simply wears the rubber surfaces until the next scheduled replacement. There are no thermal or acoustic changes to monitor.

Questions about this item

How do I install the ADF roller separation maintenance kit on my LaserJet Pro MFP M521dn, and which step is most commonly missed?

Power off the printer, open the ADF cover, release the roller assembly latch, remove the old roller and separation pad, insert the new separation pad first, then the roller, close the latch, shut the cover, and power on; the step most often missed is inserting the separation pad before the roller.

What maintenance or replacement will this A8P79-65001 kit need after installation?

The roller and separation pad in this kit are consumables; they will need replacement again after the printer's ADF page counter reaches its rated life or when misfeeds and double-feeds return.
