Stackable access switch with 24 Gigabit PoE ports, four SFP+ uplinks and a 370 W power budget for enterprise branches and campuses
The HP Aruba CX 6200F is a stackable access switch built for enterprise branch offices, campuses and SMB networks. It provides 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports with Class 4 PoE and four SFP+ uplinks in a 370 W power budget. The Aruba Gen7 ASIC architecture delivers non-blocking performance while the Network Analytics Engine simplifies monitoring and troubleshooting.
This switch suits teams deploying security cameras, wireless access points or other PoE endpoints that require up to 740 W of pooled power across a Virtual Stacking Framework of up to eight units. Cloud-centric management via Aruba NetEdit and the CX Mobile App streamlines configuration. Organisations without PoE requirements or that need only a single standalone unit without stacking may find simpler alternatives.
The 370 W budget comfortably powers multiple Class 4 devices such as PTZ cameras and high-density APs. When stacked via VSF, the combined PoE capacity rises to 740 W, giving headroom for future endpoint growth. Four SFP+ uplinks handle aggregation traffic without bottleneck. Networks exceeding 24 ports per switch or requiring higher per-port PoE will need additional switches or a different model.

The switch provides up to 370 W of Class 4 PoE, so the combined draw of all connected powered devices must not exceed that budget.
Aruba Virtual Stacking Framework (VSF) works only between CX 6200 switches, so older models without VSF cannot join the same stack.
Use the Aruba Network Analytics Engine, Aruba NetEdit, or the Aruba CX Mobile App to confirm configuration health and monitor real-time performance.
