Classroom convertible for daily tasks

This HP Fortis Flip G1m is an 11.6 inch convertible Chromebook built for home and personal use. It runs ChromeOS on a MediaTek Kompanio 520 octa-core processor with 4 GB of memory and 32 GB of flash storage. The touch-enabled HD display folds back for tablet-style interaction.

Suits students and light web users

The compact form factor and touchscreen suit learners who need a portable device for browsing, classroom apps and video calls. Buyers who want more storage for large local files or who need to run demanding desktop applications should look at a different class of device.

Ready to use from first boot

ChromeOS sets up in minutes with a Google account and requires no driver installation. The 32 GB eMMC drive is not user-replaceable, so storage cannot be expanded internally. The single HDMI port supports one external display for presentations or extra workspace.

Questions about this item

What do I need to connect an external monitor to the HDMI port on this Chromebook?

A standard HDMI cable and a monitor or TV with an HDMI input will let you extend or mirror the 1366 x 768 display.

Can I pair my older Bluetooth keyboard and mouse with the MediaTek Kompanio 520 chipset?

Yes, the built-in Bluetooth radio supports common keyboards and mice so you can keep using them alongside the English keyboard.

How can I confirm the 4 GB memory and 32 GB flash storage are recognised after first boot?

Open Settings → About ChromeOS → Device details; the listed memory and storage should match 4 GB and 32 GB respectively.
