HP 70 printhead for DesignJet printers

The HP 70 printhead combines light magenta and light cyan nozzles in a single user-replaceable unit. It is designed for HP DesignJet printers that use the C9405A part number. Professional photographers and graphic designers who require consistent colour output on wide-format media will benefit from the integrated intelligent technology that optimises every pass.

Pigment-based inks deliver vivid photos

The printhead works with HP Vivid Photo Inks to produce neutral greys, crisp lines and text at fast speeds. It handles high-definition photographic prints and detailed CAD drawings with equal reliability. Colour consistency is maintained across repeat jobs, reducing the need for reprints and keeping downtime to a minimum.

Replaces worn or clogged original printheads

When an existing HP 70 printhead shows banding, colour shift or nozzle loss, this new unit restores day-one image quality without a service call. The upgrade is worth it whenever print quality no longer meets professional standards and a simple cleaning cycle cannot recover the output. Users who rely on third-party inks and experience frequent failures will also gain reliability by switching to this Original HP component.
