Paper capacity expansion

The HP CF404A adds a 550 sheet feeder tray to compatible Color LaserJet Pro printers. It increases the total paper supply so large print jobs run without frequent reloading. The unit ships new and weighs 15.9 kg. Installation follows the standard tray alignment process for the supported models.

High-volume offices vs low-print homes

This accessory suits offices or workgroups that regularly print hundreds of pages per day and need uninterrupted operation. It is not intended for home users or small teams with light output who would not benefit from the extra capacity. Buyers should confirm their specific printer model accepts this tray before ordering.

550 sheet capacity

The single specification that determines fit is the 550 sheet capacity combined with the CF404A part number. Only printers designed for this exact tray will accept it. Verify compatibility in the printer's documentation to ensure the feeder connects and feeds correctly.
