Dual QHD curved display

The HP E45c G5 is a 44.5 inch DQHD curved monitor with a 32:9 aspect ratio and 165Hz refresh rate. Its 3000:1 contrast ratio and 400 cd/m2 brightness produce deep blacks and vivid colour across a wide 178° viewing angle. A 3 ms response time and FreeSync Premium support keep fast motion clear. The 100 W USB-C power delivery simplifies desk connectivity for compatible laptops.

Suited for immersive productivity and gaming

The ultra-wide 32:9 format replaces two standard monitors for traders, analysts and simulation enthusiasts who need a continuous horizontal workspace. High refresh rate and adaptive sync also serve competitive gamers wanting peripheral vision. Users who require built-in speakers or Thunderbolt connectivity should look elsewhere, as this model omits both. Buyers needing a traditional 16:9 layout or a smaller physical footprint will find the 44.5 inch curve impractical.

32:9 aspect ratio decides fit

The defining specification is the 32:9 Dual QHD resolution on a 44.5 inch curve, which determines whether your workflow benefits from a single expansive canvas or struggles with non-optimised software scaling. Verify that your applications and GPU drivers support this ultra-wide format before purchase.

Questions about this item

Will my older PC with DisplayPort 1.2 run the 44.5" 32:9 panel at 165 Hz?

The 32:9 DQHD resolution at 165 Hz needs DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.1 bandwidth; DisplayPort 1.2 will fall back to a lower refresh rate.

How can I confirm the 165 Hz refresh rate and FreeSync Premium are active after connecting the monitor?

Open the on-screen display to verify 165 Hz is selected, then enable FreeSync Premium in the monitor menu and check your GPU control panel shows the variable-refresh range.

Does the open-box unit include the USB-C cable that delivers 100 W power and the VESA 100 x 100 mm mounting screws?

Open-box contents vary; the monitor supports 100 W USB-C power and 100 x 100 mm VESA mounting, but cables and screws are not guaranteed — check the listing photos or contact the seller.
