HP EliteBook 840 G3 laptop

The HP EliteBook 840 G3 is a 14.0 inch FHD business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-6600U dual-core processor running at 2.60 GHz with a 3.40 GHz turbo frequency. It comes equipped with 32GB DDR3 memory and a new 2TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. Windows 10 Home 64-bit is pre-installed for immediate use.

Installation and common issues

The laptop arrives fully assembled with the operating system and drivers already configured so no internal hardware installation is required. Memory is maximised at 32GB across two slots leaving no room for further RAM upgrades. The sealed 2TB NVMe drive handles storage but swapping it later demands careful disassembly of the ultrabook chassis.

Pre-purchase checks

Verify that the 14.0 inch 1920 x 1080 non-touch display matches your workspace and portability needs. Confirm that Windows 10 Home satisfies any software licensing or management policies your organisation enforces. Ensure the Intel HD Graphics 520 integrated GPU meets the visual demands of your daily applications before ordering.
