Business ultrabook with 14" FHD screen

The HP EliteBook 840 G3 is a 14.0 inch business laptop powered by a dual-core Intel Core i5-6300U processor running at 2.4 GHz. It comes with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB SATA M.2 SSD. The non-touch display delivers 1920 x 1080 resolution. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed for immediate deployment in professional environments.

Simple setup with legacy and modern ports

The system arrives ready to use with charger and battery included. Connectivity covers USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Type C, full-size DisplayPort, VGA and Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet. A SIM card reader is present for mobile broadband options. The integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 uses shared system memory, so graphically intensive workloads will be limited by the 8 GB RAM ceiling.

Handles office suites and light multitasking

The 512 GB SSD provides fast boot and application load times for typical business workloads. Dual-core performance with four threads suits document editing, web browsing and video conferencing. Demanding tasks such as video rendering, large dataset analysis or modern gaming will exceed the processor and integrated graphics headroom. Storage expansion requires an additional M.2 SATA drive or external solution.
