Business-ready 14" laptop

The HP EliteBook 840 G4 is a 14.0" business laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-7300U dual-core processor at 2.60 GHz with 8GB DDR4 memory and a 256GB M.2 SATA SSD. It ships with Windows 10 Home and includes integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 for everyday productivity.

Silver chassis with full-size ports

The silver non-touch display offers 1366 x 768 resolution with LED backlighting. Connectivity includes two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.1 Type C port, full-size DisplayPort, VGA, Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet, a SIM card reader and a built-in webcam for video calls.

Upgrade from older ultraportables

This configuration replaces ageing dual-core machines that lack modern USB Type C and fast SATA solid-state storage. The jump is worthwhile for users who need legacy video outputs alongside a reversible USB connector for current peripherals.
