The HP EliteBook 840 G4 is a 14.0 inch laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-7300U dual-core processor running at 2.60 GHz with 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 256 GB M.2 SATA SSD. It ships with Windows 10 Home and uses integrated Intel HD Graphics 620. This configuration suits general productivity and web-based tasks.

Verify ports and display needs

The machine provides two USB 3.0 ports, one USB 3.1 Type C port, a full-size DisplayPort, a VGA port and a Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet jack. Wireless uses 802.11 b/g/n or better and a SIM card reader is present. The 1366 x 768 non-touch screen is LED backlit. Confirm these interfaces match your docking station and monitor requirements before ordering.

Grade B chassis with standard connectivity

This unit is graded B, meaning the silver chassis will show cosmetic blemishes such as scratches or surface imperfections. Structural integrity and all ports remain functional. The integrated webcam supports video calls. The M.2 SATA SSD and soldered memory are not user-replaceable, so storage and RAM capacity are fixed for the life of the device.
