EliteBook 840 G4 14 laptop

The HP EliteBook 840 G4 is a 14.0" business laptop powered by an Intel Core i5-7300U dual-core processor at 2.6 GHz. It comes with 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed. The chassis is silver and includes a 720p webcam.

Suits mobile professionals, not heavy creators

This unit fits professionals who need a lightweight 14.0" device for office applications, video calls and wired docking via VGA, DisplayPort and RJ-45. Buyers who want a touchscreen, a higher-resolution panel or discrete graphics for creative workloads should look at something else. The Grade B LCD shows visible cosmetic blemishes.

1366 x 768 non-touch display

The 14.0" LED panel delivers a 1366 x 768 resolution without touch input. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 drives the screen and external monitors through the full-size DisplayPort and VGA connectors. This resolution decides whether text clarity and multi-window workspace meet your daily requirements.
