Business-ready 14.0" QHD laptop

This HP EliteBook 840 G4 combines a 14.0 inch 2560 x 1440 display with an Intel Core i7-7500U processor, 32GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD. It runs Windows 10 Pro and uses integrated Intel HD Graphics 620. The unit is new and graded BLCD, meaning the chassis and LCD show visible cosmetic blemishes such as scratches.

Verify power, ports and OS requirements

Confirm your charger can supply 15W for the dual-core CPU and that you have access to USB 3.0, USB 3.1 Type C, full-size DisplayPort, VGA and RJ-45 connections. The laptop includes 802.11 wireless, a SIM card reader and a webcam. No optical drive is fitted, so external media must be used for disc-based installs.

Fits mobile workflows needing screen space

The QHD panel and 1TB NVMe drive free you from carrying an external monitor or drive for content review and large file sets. Integrated graphics and shared video memory limit 3D workloads, so buyers who want more graphics performance or a touchscreen should look elsewhere. The compact 14.0 inch form factor suits desk docking and travel alike.
