Business laptop with QHD display

The HP EliteBook 840 G4 pairs a 14.0-inch 2560 x 1440 LED panel with an Intel Core i7-7500U dual-core processor running at 2.7 GHz. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a 1 TB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD provide capacity for multitasking and local data storage. Integrated Intel HD Graphics 620 drives the screen and external outputs. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed.

Ready to deploy with minor cosmetic wear

The unit ships with charger and battery installed; no internal assembly is required. Grade B condition means visible scratches or surface imperfections on the chassis, but all ports and the webcam function normally. The 15 W processor and shared graphics memory keep thermals manageable in the slim body. Buyers who want a pristine cosmetic appearance should look elsewhere.

QHD productivity within integrated-graphics limits

The 2560 x 1440 resolution sharpens text and spreadsheets, yet the HD 620 relies on system memory and suits office workloads rather than 3D rendering or modern gaming. A full-size DisplayPort and VGA connector support external monitors at up to the panel's native resolution. Wireless 802.11 b/g/n and Gigabit Ethernet handle typical office networking. Users needing discrete GPU performance or newer wireless standards will find the platform restrictive.
