Business laptop for mobile professionals

The HP EliteBook 840 G5 is a 14.0 inch business laptop built for professionals who need reliable performance on the move. It runs on an Intel Core i5-8350U processor with four cores and 1.70 GHz base speed. The system includes 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe PCIe SSD for fast boot and load times. Windows 10 Home comes pre-installed.

Suits daily office work not heavy graphics

This configuration suits office productivity, web browsing and video conferencing thanks to the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 and 1920 x 1080 FHD display. Buyers who need discrete graphics for rendering, gaming or GPU-accelerated workloads should look at a different machine. The non-touch screen and single Thunderbolt 3 port may also limit some creative workflows.

256 GB NVMe SSD defines storage speed

The 256 GB NVMe PCIe M.2 drive is the specification that decides whether this unit fits your workflow. It delivers solid-state responsiveness for the operating system and active projects. Users with large local media libraries or virtual machines will likely need external or cloud storage to supplement the internal capacity.
