Business laptop for everyday productivity

The HP EliteBook 840 G5 is a 14.0-inch laptop built for professionals who need a reliable Windows 10 Pro device for office applications, web browsing and video calls. It ships with an Intel Core i5-8350U processor at 1.70GHz, 8GB of memory and a 256GB SSD. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 1920 x 1080 non-touch display.

Suited to standard office workflows not heavy

This configuration suits users who run typical business software, email and cloud services on a single external monitor via the HDMI port. Buyers who want more storage for large local files or need discrete graphics for rendering, CAD or gaming should look at alternative models. The 8GB memory is soldered and cannot be upgraded later.

256GB SSD capacity defines the storage ceiling

The single 256GB solid-state drive sets the total space available for the operating system, applications and user data. No additional drive bays or M.2 slots are mentioned in the specifications, so the drive cannot be supplemented internally. Buyers with larger datasets must plan for external or cloud storage.
