Business-ready 14-inch laptop

The HP EliteBook 840 G8 is a 14-inch business laptop built for executives and mobile professionals who need dependable everyday performance. It pairs an Intel Core i5-1145G7 processor with 16 GB of memory and a 256 GB SSD for responsive multitasking. The 1920 x 1080 non-touch display and integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics handle office applications and video meetings smoothly.

Ready to deploy out of the box

The unit arrives fully assembled with memory and storage installed, so no internal hardware installation is required. The supplier notes low battery health, meaning runtime on battery power will be reduced and a replacement may be needed for all-day mobility. No operating system is included, so the buyer must provide and install one before use.

256 GB SSD capacity

The 256 GB solid-state drive determines how much local data the laptop can hold without external storage. Buyers who need more space for large project files or media libraries should plan for cloud storage or an external drive.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Intel Core i5-1145G7 reaches 4.40 GHz under load after setup?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, watch the CPU frequency while running a heavy workload; the graph should show speeds up to 4.40 GHz when the processor boosts.

The listing mentions No OS and Low Battery Health — what else must I supply before first use?

You will need to provide your own operating system licence and installation media, plus a replacement battery or plan to keep the laptop plugged in because the existing battery holds little charge.

Is the 16 GB memory and 256 GB SSD configuration fixed, or can I choose a different capacity for this EliteBook 840 G8?

This unit ships with 16 GB of memory and a 256 GB SSD already installed; other capacities are not offered for this specific listing.
