Compact 14.0″ business laptop

The HP EliteBook 840 G8 is a 14.0″ laptop with a 1920 x 1080 FHD non-touch display running at 60 Hz. It uses an Intel Core i5-1145G7 processor at 2.60 GHz with integrated graphics. The system includes 8GB of memory and a 128GB NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and an AC adapter is supplied.

Suited to office work, limited for heavy loads

This configuration suits professionals handling email, documents, web browsing and video calls. The 8GB memory and 128GB NVMe drive cover typical productivity workflows. Buyers who need more storage for large media libraries or who require higher memory for virtualisation or creative suites should consider other options.

Included adapter and security features

The bundled AC adapter provides power out of the box. Built-in fingerprint reader and smartcard reader add hardware authentication for corporate environments. A 720p webcam, Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ac) support remote meetings and wireless connectivity. Three USB 3.0 ports and gigabit LAN handle wired peripherals and network links.
