Fits a mobile workflow

The 1920 x 1200 IPS panel provides touch input without an external display. HDMI output adds a second screen when a desk is available. Integrated graphics and the efficient processor keep thermals manageable inside the silver chassis. Fingerprint reader and backlit keyboard support secure sign-in and low-light typing wherever the notebook travels.

Upgrades handled before shipping

The supplier opens the manufacturer box to install the 32GB DDR5 kit and 2 TB NVMe drive, then tests the system. Windows 11 Pro is pre-loaded so the machine boots straight to a managed desktop. No further memory or storage steps are required before the EliteBook 845 joins the fleet.

Questions about this item

Does the Ryzen 7 PRO 8840U throttle when all eight cores run at 5 GHz for long periods?

The processor lists a 3.3 GHz base and 5 GHz turbo with 16 MB L3 cache; sustained loads will settle between those speeds depending on the chassis cooling.

How loud and hot does the EliteBook 845 G11 get during an all-day workload?

The 14 inch IPS touch chassis uses integrated Radeon graphics and DDR5 memory, so fan noise and surface temperature stay moderate under typical business tasks.

What must I already own to use the 1920 x 1200 touch display with an external monitor?

The laptop provides an HDMI port, so you only need a compatible HDMI cable and an external display that accepts 1920 x 1200 or higher resolution.
