Questions about this item

What does the USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port with Thunderbolt actually cap at for data transfer?

The USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port supports up to 5 Gbps for data; Thunderbolt capability allows a single cable to carry video, data and charging to compatible docks or monitors.

What physical space and screw pattern does the M.2 SSD slot use in this chassis?

The laptop accepts a single M.2 2280 solid-state drive secured by one screw; the slot is keyed for both SATA and NVMe modules.

How do I reinstall Windows 11 Pro cleanly, and which step do people usually miss?

Boot from a Windows 11 USB installer, choose Custom install, delete all partitions on the 512 GB SSD, then let Setup create the new ones; the missed step is downloading the HP driver pack first so Wi-Fi and Thunderbolt work after first boot.
