Ready-to-Work Business Notebook

The HP EliteBook 850 G5 arrives with Windows 11 Pro installed and an OEM AC adapter in the box. An 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor and 16 GB of DDR4 memory handle office suites, video calls and browser-heavy workflows without delay. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 drives the 15.6-inch 1920 x 1080 non-touch panel for crisp text and clear presentations.

Straightforward Deployment

A single screw secures the bottom cover, giving immediate access to the M.2 slot and both SO-DIMM sockets for future storage or memory changes. The USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C port carries Thunderbolt, so docks and external GPUs connect without adapters. Missing optional modules such as the smart-card reader or SIM slot are the most common surprises; verify the exact configuration before imaging a fleet.

Check Your Peripherals First

Confirm that your monitors accept HDMI 1.4b for 1080p output and that any legacy USB-A accessories work with the two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A ports. Gigabit Ethernet via RJ-45 and Bluetooth 4.1 cover wired and short-range wireless needs, while Wi-Fi handles the rest. Buyers who need a touchscreen, a larger colour gamut or discrete graphics should look at a different chassis.
