HP EliteBook 850 G5 15.6 business laptop

The HP EliteBook 850 G5 is a 15.6 inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor with 16 GB DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe PCIe SSD. It runs Windows 10 Pro on a 1920 x 1080 FHD non-touch display with Intel UHD Graphics 620. This unit is graded BLCD, meaning it shows cosmetic blemishes such as scratches or shiny keys.

Check ports power and OS needs before ordering

Verify that the single USB Type-C Thunderbolt 3 port meets your docking or display requirements alongside two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports and one HDMI output. Gigabit Ethernet and Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 handle wired and wireless networking. The 15 W processor and integrated graphics share system memory, so confirm the 16 GB RAM capacity suits your multitasking workload. No optical drive is included.

Sustained load on 15 W quad core

Under continuous load the 15 W quad-core CPU maintains clocks within its thermal envelope while the UHD 620 graphics draw from the same 16 GB DDR4 pool. The NVMe SSD delivers consistent throughput for long file transfers or virtual machine operations. Fan noise rises gradually during extended compile or render sessions but remains typical for a thin-and-light chassis. Surface temperatures stay manageable on the silver aluminium deck.
