HP EliteBook 850 G5 15.6" business laptop

This HP EliteBook 850 G5 is a 15.6-inch business laptop built for professionals who need a reliable Windows 11 Pro machine. It runs on an Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor at 1.90 GHz with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe PCIe SSD. The 1920 x 1080 FHD display uses LED backlighting and is a non-touch panel. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles daily visual tasks.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This configuration suits office workers, remote staff and students who want a sturdy silver chassis, a full-size keyboard and a 15.6-inch screen for documents and video calls. Thunderbolt 3, HDMI, Gigabit Ethernet and dual-band wireless give solid connectivity. Buyers who want a pristine screen without any white spots or hairline scratches should look elsewhere. Buyers who need a touchscreen, a discrete graphics card or a larger SSD should also look elsewhere.

The specification that decides fit

The Grade B LCD condition is the single specification that decides whether this is the right part. The panel will show minor but noticeable blemishes such as small white spots or a hairline scratch. If those imperfections are acceptable for your workload, the Core i7-8650U, 16 GB DDR4 and 256 GB NVMe combination delivers responsive performance for typical business applications on Windows 11 Pro.
