Business laptop for mobile professionals

The HP EliteBook 850 G5 pairs a 1.9 GHz Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor with 32 GB DDR4 memory and a 512 GB NVMe PCIe M.2 drive. A 15.6 inch 1920 x 1080 FHD non-touch display and Intel UHD Graphics 620 handle everyday productivity. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed.

Single Thunderbolt 3 port expands connectivity

One USB-C Thunderbolt 3 port carries video, data and charging through a single cable, while two USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports and an HDMI output support legacy peripherals. Gigabit Ethernet and Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 8265 provide wired and wireless networking without extra adapters. An integrated webcam covers conferencing needs.

15 W processor sustains office workloads

The 15 W U-series chip maintains steady performance during long document, browser and video-call sessions without thermal throttling. Shared system memory for the UHD 620 graphics limits 3D and heavy rendering tasks. Buyers who need discrete GPU power or higher sustained multi-core speeds should consider other form factors.
