HP EliteBook 850 G6 business laptop

The HP EliteBook 850 G6 is a 15.6 inch business laptop powered by an Intel Core i7-8665U quad-core processor running at 1.9 GHz. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD. The 1920 x 1080 FHD display uses LED backlighting and is non-touch. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handles video output.

Installation and common issues

As a complete laptop, the unit requires no internal assembly; simply connect the supplied charger and press the power button. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed, so initial setup follows the standard out-of-box experience. Grade B condition means cosmetic blemishes such as scratches or shiny spots on the chassis are present but do not affect function. Buyers should inspect the exterior on arrival and verify that all ports, webcam and wireless operate correctly.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This configuration suits professionals who need a portable 15.6 inch device with Thunderbolt 3 docking, Gigabit Ethernet and a quad-core processor for office workloads. It is not for users who require a dedicated graphics card for rendering or gaming, nor for those who need more than 8 GB of system memory or a touchscreen display. Buyers wanting a pristine, unmarked chassis should consider a higher cosmetic grade.
