Business-ready 16-inch laptop

The HP EliteBook 860 16 runs on an Intel Core Ultra 5 135U processor with 12 cores and a 4.4 GHz turbo frequency. 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB PCIe SSD come standard. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed for professional environments.

Suited for mobile professionals needing screen

The 16.0-inch IPS WUXGA display at 1920 x 1200 resolution and 60Hz refresh rate gives room for documents and code. Two Thunderbolt 4 ports plus HDMI 2.1 support multiple peripherals. Buyers who need discrete graphics for heavy rendering or gaming should look elsewhere.

Integrated Intel Graphics drives the display

The processor’s built-in GPU handles the 1920 x 1200 panel without a separate graphics chip. This keeps weight at 3.9 lbs and thickness at 0.9 inches while delivering Wi-Fi 6E AX211 and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.

Questions about this item

What are the exact dimensions of the EliteBook 860 16 so I can choose a sleeve?

The laptop measures 14.15 x 9.9 x .9 inches and weighs 3.9 lbs, so a 16-inch sleeve with a little extra depth will fit.

How do I add the Thunderbolt 4 ports to a dock, and what step is often missed?

Plug the dock into either Thunderbolt 4 port, then authorise the connection in Windows security settings — skipping authorisation leaves the dock inactive.

When will the 32 GB DDR5 memory need replacement?

The memory is soldered and not user-replaceable; plan to keep the 32 GB for the laptop's full service life.
