Versatile 2-in-1 for mobile professionals

The HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5/G6 is a 13.3-inch convertible notebook with a 360-degree hinge. It runs Windows 10 Pro on an 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8350U quad-core processor at 1.7 GHz, boosting to 3.6 GHz. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles visual output. 16 GB of onboard DDR42133 RAM and a 128 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD provide the memory and storage foundation.

Slim chassis with Corning Gorilla Glass

The FHD IPS touchscreen resolves 1920 x 1080 and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. A spill-resistant keyboard with drain and DuraKeys guards against liquid mishaps. Two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt support, HDMI, a USB 3.1 Gen 1 charging port and a headphone/microphone combo jack cover wired connectivity. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 handle wireless links.

Ready-to-work Windows 10 Pro environment

Windows 10 Professional 64-bit is pre-installed so the system boots straight to a managed desktop. The 128 GB NVMe drive keeps boot and application load times short. 16 GB of soldered DDR4 memory supports multitasking without a memory upgrade path. Buyers who want more storage or user-replaceable RAM should consider other configurations.
