HP EliteDesk 800 G2 Tower Gaming Desktop

This HP EliteDesk 800 G2 tower is a gaming desktop PC built around an Intel Core i7-6700 processor running at 3.4 GHz with a turbo frequency up to 4.00 GHz. It comes with 16 GB of DDR4 memory at 2133 speed, a 1 TB SSD, and an NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 graphics card with 2 GB of dedicated memory. Windows 10 Pro is pre-installed, and a wired keyboard and mouse are included.

Installation and common issues

The system arrives fully assembled with the operating system, drivers, and included peripherals ready to use out of the box. No internal hardware installation is required for the base configuration. The tower form factor uses air cooling, so ensuring adequate ventilation around the chassis is the primary setup consideration.

Deciding specification: GT 1030 2 GB graphics

The NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 with 2 GB of video memory determines the graphical capability of this desktop. It provides an HDMI output for display connectivity and handles light gaming and general multimedia tasks. Buyers who want more graphics performance for modern AAA titles or higher resolutions will need a system with a more powerful discrete GPU.
