Compact Mini PC for Office Work

The HP EliteDesk 800 G4 Mini PC is a small-form-factor desktop built for everyday office tasks. An Intel Core i5-8500T six-core processor runs at 2.10GHz base and up to 3.50GHz turbo with 9 MB L3 cache. It ships with 32GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed and activated. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 handles standard display output. The chassis measures 177mm high, 175mm wide and 34mm deep.

Build and Daily Connectivity

The Mini PC case fits on a desk, behind a monitor or in a VESA mount bracket. A USB Type-C port on the front panel accepts modern peripherals and flash drives. Wi-Fi 5 provides wireless networking without a cable. USB keyboard and mouse are listed as accessories but are not included in the box. No discrete graphics card is present, so video output relies on the integrated GPU. The compact dimensions limit internal expansion to the existing M.2 slot.

Upgrade Path and Limits

This system replaces an older tower or all-in-one where desk space is tight and a fresh Windows 11 install is required. The jump is worthwhile when you need six threads and fast NVMe storage in a silent, low-power package. It is not suited for buyers who want discrete graphics performance, additional internal drive bays or user-replaceable CPU upgrades. The 32GB DDR4 capacity matches the board limit, so memory cannot be increased further.
