HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Mini Business Desktop

The HP EliteDesk 800 G5 Mini is a compact business desktop built around an Intel Core i5-9500T processor running at 2.20 GHz. It comes with 32GB of DDR4 memory and a 512GB NVMe solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and a wired keyboard plus wired mouse are included in the box.

Suited to office work and light multitasking

This configuration suits general office tasks, web-based applications and video conferencing with the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630. Buyers who need a discrete graphics card for 3D rendering or heavy compute workloads should look at a different system. The small Mini PC chassis also limits internal expansion, so users requiring additional drive bays or add-in cards will need a larger form factor.

32GB DDR4 memory capacity

The single specification that decides fit for most buyers is the 32GB DDR4 memory capacity. It is the figure to verify against your workload requirements and any planned upgrades.

The EliteDesk 800 G5 Mini is a compact black desktop designed for business use. Its small form factor allows placement on a desk, behind a monitor with a compatible VESA mount, or in a rack shelf.

How do I install the included wired keyboard and mouse, and what step is often missed?

Connect the wired USB keyboard and mouse to any free USB port on the Mini PC. The step often missed is ensuring Windows 11 Pro has finished loading the drivers before use.
