Compact Business Desktop

The HP EliteDesk 800 G9 Mini PC packs an Intel Core i7-14700T processor with 16 GB of DDR5 memory and a 256 GB PCIe NVMe SSD into a small chassis. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and is aimed at office workers and IT managers who need a capable, space-saving system for daily productivity tasks.

Connections and Build

A 90 W proprietary power adapter feeds the unit while a single USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 port, five USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two DisplayPort 1.4 outputs and one HDMI 2.1 connector handle peripherals and up to three displays. Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 provide flexible networking, and a 3.5 mm audio jack supports headsets. One of two DDR5 slots remains free for future memory expansion.

Compatibility Check

Verify that your monitors accept DisplayPort 1.4 or HDMI 2.1 inputs and that any dock or hub you plan to use works with USB-C 3.2 Gen 2x2 signalling. The 256 GB drive may require supplementation if you store large local datasets, and the integrated Intel UHD Graphics 770 is not suited for heavy 3D workloads. Buyers needing discrete graphics or additional internal drive bays should consider a larger form factor.
