24-inch FHD touch all-in-one

This 24-inch Full HD touch all-in-one PC integrates a 7th Gen Intel Core i5-7500 processor, 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB SSD. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, a USB keyboard and a USB mouse. The compact design suits office workers who need a space-saving desktop with built-in webcam and touchscreen.

Integrated graphics and Gigabit Ethernet limit

The system relies on integrated graphics, which restricts 3D performance and multi-monitor gaming. Gigabit Ethernet caps wired network throughput at 1 Gbps. Wireless connectivity uses the integrated card without a stated Wi-Fi standard. Buyers who need discrete GPU power or faster wired networking should consider a tower workstation.

Tool-less access simplifies memory

The SoDIMM 204-pin slots and 2.5-inch drive bay allow RAM expansion up to 32 GB and SSD replacement without specialised tools. The pop-up privacy camera must be seated correctly to avoid damage. Ensure the Intel Q270 chipset BIOS recognises new modules after installation.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 8 GB or 32 GB DDR4 option for this EliteOne 1000 G1?

The 8 GB DDR4 SODIMM handles everyday office work and video calls; the 32 GB maximum suits heavy multitasking or large datasets.

What does the i5-7500 3.40 GHz base and 3.80 GHz turbo mean for daily performance?

Four cores at 3.40 GHz give responsive Windows 11 Pro operation; Turbo Boost to 3.80 GHz adds burst speed for short intensive tasks.

How does the Gigabit Ethernet port limit network speed in practice?

The port caps wired throughput at 1 Gbps, so file transfers and streaming cannot exceed that rate even on faster LAN infrastructure.
