24-inch FHD touch all-in-one for business users

The HP EliteOne 1000 G1 combines a 24-inch 1920 x 1080 touchscreen, a 7th Gen Intel Core i5-7500 processor running at 3.40 GHz up to 3.80 GHz, 8 GB DDR4 memory and a 512 GB 2.5-inch SSD in a single black and silver chassis. Windows 11 Pro is installed and a USB keyboard and mouse are included. Integrated graphics, Gigabit Ethernet and wireless connectivity handle everyday office workloads and video calls.

Upgrade from older non-touch AiOs

This model replaces separate desktop towers and monitors with an integrated 23.8-inch diagonal touch display and a pop-up privacy webcam. The jump is worth it when you need a smaller desk footprint, touch input for annotating documents and a built-in camera that physically retracts for security. Buyers who want more storage than 512 GB or more than 8 GB of RAM should note the chassis supports up to 32 GB DDR4 and larger 2.5-inch drives.

Tool-less access simplifies memory and drive swaps

The rear cover removes without tools so SODIMM modules and the 2.5-inch SSD can be upgraded in minutes. The 204-pin DDR4 slots accept standard low-voltage modules. What usually goes wrong is forgetting to re-seat the wireless antenna cables when reassembling, which can drop Wi-Fi performance. Ensure the pop-up camera mechanism is free of dust before closing the chassis.

Questions about this item

Does the 24-inch FHD touchscreen panel use a VESA mount or a proprietary stand for desk placement?

The EliteOne 1000 G1 integrates the 24-inch 1920 x 1080 touch display into a single chassis with a built-in stand; no separate VESA mounting is required for standard desktop use.

How is the pop-up privacy webcam activated, and what step do users often miss during first setup?

The webcam rises automatically when a video application requests access; the step users miss is granting camera permission in Windows 11 Pro privacy settings before the first call.

Which memory slots accept upgrades, and what DDR4 SODIMM specification is required for the 204-pin form factor?

The system uses 204-pin DDR4 SODIMM slots supporting up to 32 GB total; install matching 260-pin DDR4 modules in the accessible SO-DIMM sockets beneath the rear cover.
