HP EliteOne 1000 G1 24" FHD Touch AiO

This 24-inch all-in-one PC integrates a 1920 x 1080 touchscreen, 7th Gen Intel i7-7700 processor, 8 GB DDR4 memory, and dual 512 GB M.2 SSD plus 1 TB HDD storage. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, a pop-up privacy webcam, and included USB keyboard and mouse for immediate deployment.

Thermals noise and power

The integrated graphics and SoDIMM form factor keep the chassis compact while the Intel Q270 chipset manages power for the quad-core processor running at 3.60 GHz up to 4.20 GHz with Turbo Boost. Gigabit Ethernet and integrated wireless handle connectivity without discrete cards that add heat or noise.

Upgrade path and fit

The dual-drive layout suits users who need fast boot and application loads from the SSD plus large local capacity on the HDD. Buyers who require discrete graphics, more than 8 GB of RAM, or a larger display diagonal should consider other configurations.

Questions about this item

How do I add more RAM to the EliteOne 1000 G1, and which slot detail do people miss?

Open the rear panel, insert the module into the 204-pin SoDIMM slot until it clicks, then press down firmly to lock it; the step most people miss is fully seating the retention clips on both sides.

Which drive will likely need replacement first in this configuration?

The 1 TB mechanical hard drive has moving parts and a shorter typical lifespan than the 512 GB M.2 solid-state drive, so plan to swap the HDD before the SSD.

What thermal limit appears first during a long, heavy workload on the i7-7700?

The quad-core processor will hit its thermal ceiling and reduce clocks from 4.20 GHz toward the 3.60 GHz base speed once the compact all-in-one cooling saturates.
