24-inch FHD touch all-in-one

The HP EliteOne 1000 G1 integrates a 24-inch 1920 x 1080 touchscreen with a 7th Gen Intel Core i5-7500 quad-core processor. Eight gigabytes of DDR4 SODIMM memory and a dual-drive layout combining a 256 GB M.2 SSD with a 1 TB hard drive provide responsive boot times and ample local storage. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed on the 64-bit platform.

Pop-up privacy camera and peripherals

A built-in pop-up webcam retracts when not in use, physically blocking the lens for privacy during video calls. Integrated Wi-Fi and Bluetooth handle wireless connectivity, while Gigabit Ethernet offers a wired alternative. The bundle includes a USB keyboard and mouse, so the system is ready for desk deployment without extra purchases.

Single-unit setup with fixed memory

Because the computer and display share one chassis, installation only requires connecting the power cord and pressing the power button. The 8 GB DDR4 SODIMM module occupies one of the two SoDIMM slots, leaving room for a later upgrade to the 32 GB maximum supported by the Intel Q270 chipset. Buyers who need more than 32 GB of RAM or a discrete graphics card should consider a tower workstation instead.

Questions about this item

Will the 256 GB M.2 SSD or the 1 TB hard drive need replacement first under heavy write workloads?

The 1 TB hard drive has moving parts and a finite mechanical lifespan, so it typically wears out before the solid-state M.2 SSD under sustained write loads.

Which component hits its limit first during long video-conferencing sessions — the i5-7500 CPU or the integrated graphics?

The integrated graphics share system memory and thermal budget with the i5-7500, so graphics-intensive streams will throttle the GPU before the CPU reaches its own ceiling.

How loud does the cooling fan get when the All-in-One runs Windows 11 Pro all day with the pop-up webcam active?

The slim chassis uses a single internal fan; it spins up noticeably when the processor sustains turbo frequencies, producing audible airflow noise in a quiet room.
