24-inch touch all-in-one desktop

The HP EliteOne 1000 G1 combines a 23.8-inch full HD touchscreen with a 7th generation Intel Core i7-7700 processor, 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a dual-drive layout of 512 GB M.2 SSD plus 1 TB hard drive. Windows 10 Pro is installed and a USB keyboard and mouse are included. The integrated pop-up webcam supports video conferencing.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This all-in-one fits users who want a single desktop unit with touch input, integrated graphics and both solid-state and mechanical storage already configured. Buyers who need a discrete graphics card, a larger display diagonal or the ability to upgrade the processor should consider a separate tower and monitor.

Deciding specification: 23.8-inch 1920 x 1080

The 24-inch class display with 1920 by 1080 resolution and capacitive touch defines the form factor and the primary interaction method. If the workspace requires a non-touch panel, a different screen size or a higher pixel density, this model will not match that requirement.

Questions about this item

Will the 3.60 GHz base speed and 4.20 GHz boost handle heavy multitasking smoothly?

The i7-7700 runs at 3.60 GHz with a 4.20 GHz turbo boost across four cores and eight threads, so 16 GB of DDR4 keeps demanding workloads responsive.

What does the Gigabit Ethernet port limit my wired network speed to?

The integrated Gigabit Ethernet caps wired throughput at 1 Gbps, which is the standard maximum for this interface.

Can I add more memory using the 204-pin SODIMM slots?

Yes, the board uses 204-pin DDR4 SODIMM slots; the unit ships with 16 GB installed and supports expansion up to 32 GB.
