HP EliteOne 1000 G1 All-in-One

The HP EliteOne 1000 G1 is a 24 inch all-in-one desktop with a 1920 x 1080 touchscreen. It runs on a 7th Gen Intel Core i5-7500 processor with 8 GB of DDR4 SODIMM memory. Storage combines a 512 GB M.2 SSD and a 1 TB hard drive. Windows 11 Pro is installed with a USB keyboard and mouse included.

Upgrading from older all-in-one PCs

This system replaces earlier all-in-one desktops that rely on slower hard drives or non-touch displays. The jump is worth it when you need the responsiveness of an SSD for the operating system plus a large hard drive for files. The integrated graphics and quad-core processor handle general office tasks and video conferencing without a separate graphics card.

Simple setup with integrated components

Installation is straightforward because the computer, display, webcam and speakers are built into one unit. You only need to connect power and network cables, then pair the included USB keyboard and mouse. What usually goes wrong is forgetting to update Windows 11 Pro and drivers after the first boot, which can affect touchscreen calibration and Wi-Fi stability.

Questions about this item

Will the 24-inch display fit on a standard 100 mm VESA mount?

The EliteOne 1000 G1 24-inch all-in-one uses a proprietary stand and is not VESA-mountable without an HP-specific adapter kit that is not included.

How do I add more DDR4 memory to the two SODIMM slots?

Remove the rear cover, press each 204-pin DDR4 module into a slot at roughly a 45-degree angle until it clicks, then fold it down flat — the common mistake is stopping at the click without locking the retention clips.

When should I replace the 2.5-inch 512 GB M.2 SSD or the 1 TB hard drive?

Replace the SSD if SMART health drops below 80 % or write cycles exceed the rated TBW; replace the hard drive if reallocated sectors appear or sustained throughput falls under 80 MB/s.
