EliteOne 800 G4 All-in-One

This HP EliteOne 800 G4 integrates a 23.8 inch FHD touchscreen with an Intel i5-8500 processor, 8 GB DDR4 memory and a 128 GB SSD. It suits office workers and reception areas that need a compact Windows 10 Pro desktop without separate monitor cables.

Sustained workload behaviour

The six-core i5-8500 runs at 3.0 GHz base and can reach 4.10 GHz with Turbo Boost, while Intel UHD Graphics 630 handles everyday visual tasks. Integrated graphics share system memory, so extended heavy rendering or multiple 4K streams will throttle faster than a discrete GPU solution.

Deciding specification

The 128 GB SSD capacity is the limiting factor for local data; users with large media libraries or virtual machines will need external storage or a larger drive configuration. Buyers who want more storage should choose a different SKU.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 3.0 GHz i5-8500 get when the All-in-One runs all day?

The integrated fan keeps the 6-core processor within thermal limits; the chassis warms slightly but stays quiet enough for an open-plan office.

What must I already own to set up this EliteOne 800 G4?

Only a power outlet and network cable or Wi-Fi credentials; the 23.8" FHD touch display, 128 GB SSD, 8 GB DDR4, DVDRW, USB keyboard and mouse are all built in or included.

Will my older USB 2.0 printer and VGA monitor work alongside this PC?

Yes — multiple USB ports accept legacy peripherals, and the DisplayPort output can drive a VGA screen with a passive adapter.
