24-inch FHD Touch All-in-One

The HP EliteOne 800 G4 is a 23.8-inch full-HD touchscreen all-in-one PC built around an 8th-generation Intel hexa-core i5-8500 processor running at 3.0 GHz with turbo up to 4.10 GHz. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 SODIMM memory and a dual-drive layout of a 128 GB M.2 SSD plus a 1 TB hard drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and a USB keyboard and mouse are included.

Upgrade from older integrated desktops

This unit replaces ageing all-in-ones or tower-plus-monitor sets that rely on dual-core CPUs and spinning disks alone. The jump is worth it when daily workloads need six native threads, an SSD boot drive and a 1080p touch panel in a single chassis without separate cabling.

Capacity and headroom

The 128 GB SSD holds the operating system and core applications for fast start-up while the 1 TB hard drive stores large document libraries and media files. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory keeps typical office multitasking smooth. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 handles standard business visuals but is not suited for heavy 3D rendering or modern gaming workloads.

Questions about this item

What are the VESA mounting dimensions for the 23.8" display?

The EliteOne 800 G4 supports a standard 100 x 100 mm VESA pattern; remove the stand to expose the four mounting holes on the rear chassis.

How do I access the M.2 slot and SODIMM sockets, and which step is often missed?

Lay the unit face-down, remove the rear cover screws, lift the cover, then insert the 204-pin DDR4 modules and M.2 drive; the step often missed is re-engaging the retention clips on both SODIMM slots.

Which components are user-replaceable and what are the maximum supported capacities?

You can replace the two SODIMM modules up to 32 GB total DDR4, the 2.5" 128 GB M.2 SSD, and the 1 TB hard drive; the integrated graphics and processor are not upgradeable.
