Compact desktop for everyday work

The HP G4 RGB Mini PC is a small-form-factor desktop built around an Intel Core i5-8500 hexa-core processor running at 3.00 GHz with a 4.10 GHz boost. It ships with Windows 11 Pro, 8 GB of DDR4 memory and a 256 GB NVMe solid-state drive. The package includes an RGB keyboard, RGB mouse and a BTO Wi-Fi adapter for immediate use.

8 GB DDR4 and 256 GB NVMe capacity

The 8 GB of DDR4 memory handles typical office suites, web browsing and light multitasking without slowdown. The 256 GB NVMe drive provides fast boot times and responsive application launches for the operating system and core programs. Demanding creative workloads or large local datasets will exceed the available memory and storage headroom.

Connectivity and expansion

Dual DisplayPort outputs drive up to two 4K displays for a productive multi-monitor setup. USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and USB-C ports cover peripherals and external storage, while an RJ-45 Ethernet jack and the included Wi-Fi adapter give flexible network options. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 handles video playback and general desktop graphics without a discrete card.

Questions about this item

Will the HP G4 Mini PC with its Intel Core i5-8500 and Intel UHD Graphics 630 drive my older 1080p monitor over DisplayPort?

Yes, the two DisplayPort outputs support 4K resolution so a 1080p monitor will work without any adapter.

How can I verify the Intel Core i5-8500 is hitting its 4.10 GHz turbo speed once Windows 11 Pro is installed?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, watch the CPU clock while running a heavy single-thread load; it should rise toward 4.10 GHz.

Does the box contain the RGB keyboard, RGB mouse and BTO Wi-Fi adapter, or must I buy them separately?

The package includes the Mini PC, RGB keyboard, RGB mouse, BTO Wi-Fi adapter and power cables; no extra accessories are required.
