Compact Business Desktop

The HP 600 G5 Mini is a small-form-factor PC built for office and mainstream workloads. It ships with Windows 11 Pro 64-bit, a USB keyboard and a USB mouse. The unit is refurbished to Grade A cosmetic condition.

Thermals and Power

The 6-core Intel Core i5-9500T runs at a 2.2 GHz base frequency with a low thermal design suited to the 1.3-inch chassis. Typical office tasks keep fan noise low and power draw modest. The 9 MB L3 cache helps sustain responsive performance.

Deciding Specification

The 256 GB NVMe SSD determines whether this desktop fits the workflow. It provides fast boot and application loading for standard business apps. Buyers who need more storage or a second drive bay should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 256GB NVMe drive in this HP 600 G5 MINI, and what step is often missed?

Remove the bottom cover by loosening the captive screw, slide the NVMe module into the M.2 slot at a 45-degree angle, then press it down and secure it with the small retaining screw — many people forget that final screw.

What maintenance will the 16GB memory and 256GB NVMe storage need later?

The 16GB memory is soldered and not upgradeable; the 256GB NVMe drive can be replaced with a larger NVMe module if capacity runs low, and the fan vents should be cleared of dust every 12 months.

What limit appears first when the Intel Core i5-9500T runs sustained workloads in this 1.3-inch high chassis?

The mini form factor restricts airflow, so the CPU thermal throttle activates before the 6-core processor can maintain its peak frequency for long periods.
