Business desktop for office workflows

The EliteDesk 800 G5-SFF packs an Intel Core i7-9700 3.00 GHz 8-Core processor with 12 MB L3 cache and 32 GB DDR4 memory. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 drives two DisplayPort 1.2 outputs. A 1 TB M.2 NVMe SSD holds the OS and data. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit is pre-installed. The small form factor chassis suits standard office desks.

Front and rear I/O for peripherals

Front panel adds one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C, two USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A and two USB 2.0 ports plus two audio jacks. Rear provides two USB 2.0, two USB 3.1 Gen 2, two USB 3.1 Gen 1, one RJ45 and two audio ports. No optical drive is fitted. The port mix covers modern and legacy accessories without adapters.

Check power and expansion limits

The 3.94" x 13.31" x 12.13" case weighs 13.51 lbs and uses a proprietary power supply. Low-profile cards only fit the PCIe slots. Verify your monitor uses DisplayPort 1.2 or carry an active adapter. Questions about this item

Can the 1 TB M.2 NVMe SSD be replaced with a larger drive later?

The desktop uses an M.2 slot for the 1 TB NVMe SSD; a larger M.2 NVMe drive can be installed when more capacity is needed.

What limits sustained performance of the Intel Core i7-9700 first?

The 8-core i7-9700 with 12 MB L3 cache will hit its thermal ceiling in the small-form-factor chassis before power delivery becomes a constraint.

How loud and hot does the EliteDesk 800 G5-SFF get when running all day?

Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 630 keeps heat output modest, and the compact 3.94" x 13.31" x 12.13" chassis stays relatively quiet during typical business workloads.
